My daughter loves Tinker Bell. She was enchanted from the very first Tinker Bell movie. She was Tinkerbell for Halloween at age 4- and we even had a Neverland birthday party when she turned six!
Even though she’s almost ten, this girl still wanted me to buy the latest movie Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast, and we can’t wait to watch it for family movie night!
I picked it up during my weekly grocery shopping run to Walmart. I love that they have their latest movies right at the front of the store in an easy-to-spot display. I grabbed the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo and headed home to surprise my daughter.
What better way to celebrate the release of this DVD than with a delicious treat in hand? My daughter and I made these Pixie Dust Cookies together, and we want to share the recipe with you!
These cookies are the perfect sweet sugar cookie. They are quick to make, and your kids can even help! The best part- each fairy can have her very own cookie!
We bought colored sugars to match Tinker Bell and her friends.
We of course have green for Tinker Bell,
Blue for Periwinkle (or Silvermist),
and so on! (Just in case you need a cheat sheet, Fawn is Orange, Rosetta is Pink, Irridessa is Yellow, and Vidia is Purple).
The dough is a simple drop sugar cookie. Once you’ve got the dough made, roll it into a ball and then roll the ball into the colored sprinkles of your choice.
I finished off with a little bit of “pixie dust” (edible golden stars) to make them truly magical.
Bake for 10-12 minutes and you’ve got a delicious batch of Pixie Dust sugar cookies!

Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Colored sugar sprinkles
Edible gold glitter stars
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded spoonfuls into balls, or use a cookie scoop.
3. Roll each ball in the colored sugar of your choice and place on a greased or lined cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Top each ball with a pinch of glitter stars.
4. Bake 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should appear puffy when first removed. They will settle as they cool. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to a cool on wire racks.
