FYI- Today’s my birthday! Just in case you wanted to know. It’s also the last day of school! So, we will be celebrating with a School’s Out!/Birthday dinner out tonight.
Anyway, I’m finally getting around to showing you what I made my mom for Mother’s Day. Even though I made it for a present, this would be an easy project to make for any occasion- home decor, seasonal decorations, or a special gift.
This gorgeous charger is actually a large”candle” plate from IKEA. If you’re lucky enough to live near an IKEA, go stock up! I chose this vinyl phrase from the Silhouette store, though again, you could put anything here.
I cut the vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo, and applied the vinyl to the charger with some clear transfer tape.
Then, I added a fun finishing touch with some polka dot ribbon threaded through the little holes around the circle. They’re tiny, so get the thinnest ribbon you can find!
This is a quick and easy project- so get creating!
